The Balistreri family invites you to celebrate the Italian tradition of gourmet cuisine, fine wine and entertainment! In 1967, Executive Chef Isidoro Balistreri came to San Diego from his native town of Aspra, a small village just outside of Palermo, Sicily, bringing with him exquisite recipes from the "Old Country". In 1974, Chef Isidoro and his wife, Maria, opened San Diego's original The Godfather Restaurant to bring you the treasured recipes of Northern and Southern Italy.
